We have a variety of special projects throughout the year.  Here are a few examples:

• Each winter, we stuff nearly 1,000 READY! Kits for rising kindergarten students in Henderson County Public Schools.
• We set up a tent and table at various community events to share our services with families in the community.
• Sometimes, we need envelopes stuffed, books labeled, and help with other tasks like laminating or data entry.

Our committed board of directors cares deeply about the issues facing families and caregivers of our community’s infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.  We are always looking for people from the government, community services, and private sector who are enthusiastic about early childhood to help us further our mission!

We also have occasional short-term committees such as the Application Review Committee that helps us making funding decisions and the Fundraiser Committee that helps us plan exciting events.
